Ingredients
- Ground Beef (80/20 fat ratio)450 g
- Bacon (thin-sliced)6 slices
- Flaky Sea Salt1.5 tsp
- Freshly Ground Black Pepper0.75 tsp
Method
- Divide the ground beef into two equal portions. Gently form each portion into a thick, flat patty (about 1 inch thick). Season both sides generously with sea salt and black pepper.
- Wrap 3 slices of bacon around the circumference of each patty, overlapping slightly and securing with toothpicks if needed.
- Heat a large skillet (cast iron or non-stick) over medium-high heat. Place the patties in the hot skillet.
- Sear the patties for 4-6 minutes per side, turning occasionally, until the bacon is crispy and the beef is cooked to your desired doneness (internal temperature of 160°F for well-done).
- Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before serving. Discard toothpicks if used.
