All the best parts of a bacon cheeseburger served scramble-style in a bowl with a quick two-ingredient burger sauce.
Ingredients
2 servings
Ground beef (80/20)450 g
Bacon4 slices
Cheddar cheese (shredded)60 g
Avocado oil mayonnaise3 tbsp
Yellow mustard1 tbsp
Dill pickle (diced)30 g
Salt0.5 tsp
Black pepper0.25 tsp
Method
1
Cook the bacon slices in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon, crumble it, and set it aside. Keep the rendered bacon fat in the skillet.
2
Add the ground beef to the hot skillet with the bacon fat. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook, breaking the meat up with a spatula, until fully browned and cooked through, about 6 to 8 minutes.
3
Turn off the heat. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the hot ground beef, then cover with a lid for 1 to 2 minutes to let the cheese melt completely.
4
In a small bowl, stir together the avocado oil mayonnaise and yellow mustard to make a simple burger sauce.
5
Divide the cheesy ground beef into two bowls. Top with the crumbled bacon, diced dill pickles, and a drizzle of the burger sauce.
